We meet every Wednesday evening at the Prayer Space for Agapai, an informal time of friendship, food and worship. A shared meal is one of the oldest known forms of Christian fellowship, dating back to the early church.

Table set with cheese and wine

We eat at 8pm, then at 8:45 we share worship in a different style each week. We currently alternate a traditional but informal Eucharist, a reflective Compline and a meditative Taize style service.

Our worship calendar is decided by the group, and as a fresh expression of church, we’re always interested in trying out new creative ideas.

Easter service stuff in a bag

We often have film screenings or follow a course; for Lent 2019 we watched series 3 of the BBC’s Rev and discussed the issues that came up. Then we celebrated Easter with a dawn barbecue by the river.
